My experience with shopping at the Kapolei Walmart for a few days in a row was OK. Wasn’t at all bad as our experience with the mainland Walmart. There are a lot of concerns as far as the store and the Walmart workers the way the workers conduct themselves and one thing I did notice which was very concerning was how the janitor leaves his cart around the store with spray bottles with chemicals, mop bucket, with water, and some type of cleaning inside solution, he likes to leave it around various aisles of the store left unattended, which is quite concerning when it comes to little kids in the store. This is a Walmart and kids come in the store every day and it won’t take much for the kid to get to the bucket or his cart and especially empty pallets that are just left in the middle of aisles, makes it hard for customers to access items safely that they came for and especially their management. The only good thing about this Walmart experience is the Signal Security Officers to make this place feel safe and secured, the way they patrol the inside makes it feel safe and especially the one that patrol outside in the patrol vehicle the guy with the short hair and the cross on his for

Very wide selection of Hawiian souvenirs. Lots of Hawaii hats and such. Best selection we've found. The store was clean, everything was well stocked. Our cashier was exceptionally friendly and made us feel welcome!

It's a Walmart, if you've been to one you know what you're getting. However this particular location has a vision center that I've been to twice and on both occasions I have been incredibly impressed with the employees and with the service I received. Both visits were walk-ins. Also I should mention that despite absolutelyrequiring my glasses to function in the world I can be shockingly careless with them. So the first visit was to do various levels of repair to my primary pain of glasses (the ones I rely on most), my backup pair, AND my backup's backup (glasses of last resort). The service I received was fast and very friendly. She fixed my glasses and if there was any judgement about a middle aged lady showing up with her very necessary eyewear in such a state she remained entirely professional and kept it to herself. My second visit, roughly two months later, I was greeted immediately when I approached the vision center by a different -- but equally professional and friendly -- employee. I was quite relieved to have a different person helping me as I once more needed various repairs to the same three pairs of glasses. Again the lack of a judge-y vibe was SO welcome. So: the Wal

The employees n managers are extremely friendly and helpful beyond grateful for the wonderful service. The store is so clean n organized n although a bit more pricey than the stateside Walmart stores it is still reasonable for Hawaii! I was able to find everything I was looking for from the garden center to clothes and the food was pretty well stocked, a few things like celery were unavailable at this time. I love this Walmart!

This is my favorite Walmart location on the island. It is not only beautiful on the outside, but the parking lot is ample and built with plenty of room. The store is well organized, and kept clean on the inside. There’s a McDonald’s located in there as well as as a credit union and Western Union services are offered here. There’s even an optical store inside. This is a very large Walmart. They also have a garden center. Best of all the employees are always friendly and very helpful.
